Macs staff made the trip seamless
We decided to walk the Camino Primitivo from Lugo to Santiago de Compostela. It was a beautiful picturesque journey, especially walking from Ferreira to Melide. During the first two days, the Camino was quiet with very few pilgrims. On the third day, the Camino Primitivo merges with the Frances and there were hundreds of pilgrims. We had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. The hotel accommodations were excellent and the staff was always welcoming. The luggage was seamlessly transferred from location to location. We had the opportunity to eat wonderful local cuisine. The staff at Mac Adventures answered all of our questions (which were many) and made the trip seamless. Also, the guidebook and information they provide is nicely prepared. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!Â
A brilliantly organised trip
Excellent walking in beautiful rural countryside. Secluded and peaceful. All ways to describe the Camino Primitivo. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to walk longer distances, stay in smaller places and generally have a slightly tougher challenge. Macs Adventures arranged everything and all the organisation worked perfectly even when we changed things mid-trip. Will definitely be using Macs again.
Macs Adventure is first class
You don't see much of them, but you always know they are there to help and support.
Full marks to Macs Adventure!
I walked the C2C [Coast to Coast Path] in England and had all accommodations arranged by Macs and enjoyed my walk tremendously. So when I decided on the Camino Primitivo, I turned to them again. They didn't disappoint!! All I did was wake up and walk.....Macs made all arrangements, picked up my main bag and had it waiting at my next accommodation for me. Don't misunderstand....I have walked the Camino Frances twice.....carrying everything on my back and the Primitivo is still tougher, particularly through Asturias.....but is well worth the effort! Absolutely beautiful.....And no crowds. Full marks to the Camino Primitivo and Macs Adventures!Â
